Equaterra , the leading IT Advisory service, recently conducted their Service Provider Outsourcing Review for 2010.
The survey included over 220 of the top IT spending organisations in the UK, whose collective IT spend is more that £40 billion per annum. The survey participants were CIOs, CFOs or their direct reports. 25 of the leading IT service providers were evaluated for the survey, which looked at more than 660 unique client-provider relationships, with an actual cash value of £14 billion.
The results of the survey include some great news for Getronics! Our clients told the survey that we “understand their business” and “have a good working relationship”.
Some of the highlights of the report are as follows:
- Getronics was rated in the top 3 Service Providers for operational relationship management and is the only service provider to have consistently increased this rating for four consecutive years. None of Getronics’ clients considered the relationship to be “very transactional”.
- Clients are significantly more likely to recommend Getronics as a partner for outsourcing projects, compared with other Service Providers.
- Getronics is the only service provider to have consistently increased their client satisfaction rating every year for 4 consecutive years.
- Getronics clients are significantly more positive that outsourcing contributed to their initial objectives than the average.
- Access to skills was as high a driver as cost savings for Getronics clients, demonstrating the value clients associate with the delivery of our services, whereas the average client surveyed held cost savings as the single highest priority.
- Compared with the market average, Getronics is considered to shoulder more commercial risk and make necessary investments to reduce that risk for the client.
- Customers are more satisfied with our pricing Year on Year.
- Getronics was rated higher than average at meeting service levels in contract SLAs.
